PASSED OUT STUDENT"s Suggestion to prepare for TNPSC Group 4

My suggestion to prepare for TNPSC Group 4 follows below :

First know the syllabus :

General Studies - 75 Marks

Aptitude Test - 25 Marks

General English / General Tamil - 100 Marks

Total will be 200 Marks and 3 hours will be the exam duration .

Below mentioned are just an example for your study but not the exact one.

For General Studies : Read Newspapers , Watch News channel , and surf in internet for latest updates and current affairs.

For aptitude : You can go with RS Aggarwal books ( Practice basic level ) , and normal maths will do

For General English / General Tamil : You can refer basic grammar since questions will be based on noun , verb, pronoun , articles & basic grammar etc.,

Indian History related questions will be a part of the exam so prepare for that as well. ( basic questions only , No need of depth history)

Best books to prepare for Group 4 : Samacheer Kalvi books from 6th Std to 10th Std.
